At Jungle City Studios we offer Casual adult classes, term enrollment for adults and kids, five week courses, one-off workshops, private tuition and group workshop bookings.

Casual classes are tailored to people of all levels of dance and fitness – just take it at your own pace and most importantly have fun! Our casual classes and courses for adults run for 60 minutes, kids and fitness classes run for 45 minutes, and all classes are facilitated by professional dancers, who are very passionate about their genre of dance.

We encourage you to come dressed in comfortable clothing and appropriate foot wear for the class you are attending, and keep hydrated at all times. If you have health conditions or injuries make sure you advise your instructor prior to class.

We also offer term enrollment for all casual adult’s classes for those of you who want to build your skills as a dancer, as well as receive our discounted term rates, or take advantage of our ten class passes, valid for six months if you prefer to mix it up and do a few different classes while also receiving the discounted rate of $15.50 per class.

At Jungle City studios we have been blessed to host a plethora of amazingly talented Australian and International dancers for one-off special guest workshops including the likes of Latonya Style (JA); Killer Bean (JA); Stacy Letrice (US), Nadiah Idris (MEL); Alexx Downunder (WA); Jace Aceman (WA); and Johnny Yayo (MEL); and Lamaroc (MEL), and many others. The original idea of vogue was models, fashion and opulent lifestyles coming to life in a series of poses and elements that would tell a story either throwing shade or representing how incredible one is.
Vogue Femme came from Transgender women and has got a feminine essence. It’s more fluent, it can be dramatic or it can be soft.

Enhancing posture, grace, strength and flexibility, an hour long ballet class consists of: Barre Work to isolate body parts and gradually warm and stretch muscles while holding the barre for confidence; Centred work to step away from the barre and apply exercises; and Across the Floor filling the room with beautiful ballet movement.

What to wear: Tight fitting clothes so that you and the instructor can see your lines, and apply corrections. Canvas or leather ballet shoes with a suede sole should be worn to ensure proper foot development, however new students can wear socks. Pointe shoes welcome.

Soulscape Arts is teaming up with Capoeira Melbourne, to offer an 8-week introductory / refresher course of the Afro-Brazilian martial art @ Jungle City Studios, 7b/7-9 Hope St, Brunswick.

The course will cover the basics of capoeira movement, customs, music and more. Expect to spend some time upside down!

Strength and flexibility exercises are incorporated into the 60min training session.

Lorem is experienced at catering for different levels of skill and fitness, so although the focus is on beginners / refreshers, all levels are welcome!
